I am a graphic designer and strategic communications professional with 15 years experience in non-profit, labor and political communications. After studying graphic design at Moore College of Art and Design, I worked for an environmental non-profit organization where I produced all in-house communications including: newsletters, brochures, logos, annual reports, educational signage, special events materials and fundraising packages.
For the ten years following, I worked in strategic communications for the labor movement, serving as Communications Director for six years. As Director, I led our union's communications program through a variety of workplace, community and political campaigns while also expanding our member communications program and social media presence.
Most recently, I have been supporting progressive political and community campaigns - often on tight deadlines - creating mailers, palm cards, door hangers and social media content.
My understanding of campaign strategy as well as my experience in crafting both tailored messaging and effective design uniquely positions me to help any candidate or organization achieve their desired goals.
